Next day, the 5th, was clear and dry, and so we were able to accomplish the planting in comfort. Following advice of old, we mixed the seeds with sand, one part seeds to 10 parts sand, which made a more even broadcast of the seeds quite simple. The seeds were spread as evenly as possible and then we gently tapped them down by walking on them. The instructions had been to NOT put more than 1/4″ depth onto these seeds. As you can see this final stage of the planting was perhaps the easiest.
Now, for the hardest part – Waiting and Patience anticipating our new flower garden. Fingers crossed ….
